Lolle has to soothe Alex's ruffled feelings. He's simply fed up with her pretending to be Mohammed's girlfriend. "I'll definitely come to your first important presentation this evening!" promises Lolle. But Mohammed urges Lolle to meet up with him and his parents one last time. "I'll tell my parents the truth," he promises. Lolle could just come for an hour and then go to Alex's presentation. Lolle agrees. But then when Mohammed's parents come to dinner, Mohammed's courage fails. He's afraid to tell his parents that he's gay. And Lolle knows: if I don't go to the presentation this evening, then my relationship with Alex is in deep trouble.
