Sherazade's new adventures from ancient Bagdad to the modern age. A very free adaption of the Arabian Nights.

It's the tale of Sheherazade's flight from death and searching for love. She becomes a slave, a queen, the captain of a pirate ship, a belly dancer and an animal tamer in a circus. She marries a king who wants to kill her because he loves her too much. She meets Aladin, a young beggar who rises to be the tyrannical leader of a banana republic.
Eventually she meets the Genie. The Genie of Aladin's magic lamp has the singularity of living in the twentieth century, whereas our story takes place in the Bagdad of a thousand years ago. To assist Sheherazade in her flight, the Genie supplies her with motorcycles, weapons, and helicopters.
The magical side of the film is that all the twentieth century objects are invisible to the characters who belong to the past. So that when Sherazade is in a helicopter, all that can be seen is the carpet she is sitting on, and there's your flying carpet!

Der Lampengeist Jimmy gerät in die Hände Aladins und der schönen, von den Häschern des Königs und dem Wesir gejagten Sheherazade. Jimmy stellt ihr mit Motorrädern und Helikopter das Beste aus der modernen Welt zur Verfügung. Auf ihrer Odyssee lernt Sheherazade den Seefahrer Sindbad kennen, ein Spinner, der seine Reisen nur im Kopf erlebt hat. Sie schlägt sich durch als Sklavin, Königin, Tänzerin, Dompteuse und Herrin über Piraten, bevor sie ihre wahre Liebe findet und Allah auch den genialen Jimmy erlöst.
