Deep Wounds (3/12)

It is a few years ago that Detective Inspector Jürgen Tauber lost his arm in a police operation. He was chasing three bank robbers over the roofs of Munich.

One of these bank robbers, however, was a beautiful young woman, who managed not only to take the money from the hotel safe in a matter of seconds - she also turned the head and stole the heart of Inspector Tauber. But she disappeared from his life. His amputated arm with its phantom pains remains forever a symbol of this lost love. Just as Tauber seems to have overcome the worst emotional and physical pains and is evidently heading for promotion, the past returns to threaten him. Theresa Lutz, a goldsmith, is murdered during a raid on her shop. Next to her dead body Tauber finds clues which have obviously been left there for him by Katja, the love of his life. What does she want from him? Tauber is determined never to look in her lovely eyes again. At the same time, however, he feels a growing desire for revenge on the member of the trio who destroyed his arm. In search of the robbers, he secretly gets in touch with Katja again - at first for purely professional reasons. But the Inspector's heart soon rules his head, once again. Before he realizes it, he is overwhelmed by powerful emotions. One click of Katja's fingers, and Tauber seems ready to risk both his career and his life...
