Commissioner Beissl is outraged. A murder that took place at 6:30 in the morning right in front of the police station has not been noticed by anyone. Police officer Max has to admit that he had taken a short nap. The victim, physiotherapist Thekla Mahr, had an argument the night before with the two high-flyers from the ski jumping boarding school, Ben and Rupert, as they celebrated their promotion to the A squad. The two boys have no alibi. The same goes for their coach Tobias Koller. Jerry initially faces fierce resistance from the mothers, who do everything they can to thwart the investigation into their sons. Nevertheless, Beissl and Jerry bring light into the darkness. A few days before the murder, the two athletes were driving with the murder victim at night - and hit a pedestrian.  Instead of taking care of the seriously injured man, they committed a hit-and-run. But the later murder victim had a guilty conscience - was that her doom?
