An Unexpected Visitor

Alois Wiesner is dying. His loyal housekeeper Theres goes to Leipzig to find his daughter Eva. She hopes to convince her to come back to Bavaria and to bring her 12-year-old son, Flori, so that Eva can speak with her father and Alois can finally meet his grandson. Eva and Flori decide to return with Theres but they are too late: by the time they arrive back to the idyllic Wiesner farm, the boy's grandfather has already passed away. While Eva grieves for her father, Flori finds an unexpected friend in the farm dog Racko.
