Sherazade sets out from the Lost Temple with Halil and Jamal to collect some water for the journey. But she runs into an ambush at the desert watering hole – Osman and a troop of soldiers. She escapes, but is forced to leave Jamal and Halil in the clutches of the soldiers. Meanwhile in the Lost Temple, Karim encounters a magical fish who agrees to grant him a wish. He wishes to have his old form back, and the fish gives it to him. But the catch is that he will also be turned into a stone statue. While Jamal and Halil do battle with and eventually escape the soldiers, Sherazade arrives back at the Lost Temple and finds Karim mostly turned to stone. It is only her sincere tear shed at his loss that reverses the transformation and saves him, back in his monster form but alive.
